Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Clerk provides staff scheduling and clerical support to the clinical programs. The Clerk will work collaboratively with the Manager, Staff Scheduling and Program Managers to ensure best practices for scheduling effectively and consistently within the parameters of all Collective Agreements.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year related experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience – required
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills; detail oriented
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment
Excellent communication skills; Proficiency in French language is an asset
Education and/or Certification
Graduate of a Medical Secretarial Program – preferred
Medical Terminology – required (mandatory test)
Minimum typing 40 wpm – required (mandatory test)
